335 Ashford in the Water

Ashford in the Water is as pretty as its name suggests. Limestone cottages and houses line the narrow streets, ducks potter beneath the medieval three-arched Sheepwash Bridge, and visitors meander past the conical-roofed Parish Pump. Once this was at the heart of the lead mining industry, but now there is an air of timeless tranquillity about the place. There's even a choice of pubs - what more could you ask!
