612 Tarnbrook

The haunting call of the lapwing echoes over the fields around Tarnbrook. The bird is also confusingly known as the pewit or green plover, but there's no confusion about the paths, for many have carved stone waymarks, one enigmatically showing a hat - read on to find out why.
