Stalybridge must be very proud of Stamford Park, with its beech trees and splendid conservatory, and of Silver Springs whose two lakes carry numerous waterfowl. Then, after a fine viewpoint over the Tame Valley, you return beside the beautifully restored Huddersfield Narrow Canal.
