671 Basin Stone, Walsden

Banned from preaching in the established church in the 19th century Methodists took to the open air. But the Basin Stone, high above Walsden, must be one of the wildest pulpits imaginable. No nodding off at the back, the chilly winds would have kept the congregation awake.
