745 Bakewell and the River Wye

Bustling Bakewell has almost as many ducks as people, yet downstream, beside the River Wye, birdsong is often the only sound. On the hillside we had an aerial view of Haddon Hall then returning to the riverside park a game of croquet completed the pastoral scene.
