781 Castell Dinas Bran

Castell Dinas Bran is the jewel in Llangollen's crown. Perched on a hill overlooking the town, it's a steep climb rewarded by wonderful views. Built in the early 1260s the castle was used for a mere 17 years, yet amid these ruins there's an echo of a glorious past.
